POPSOCKETS
PopSockets is the fun, empowering, and fast-growing startup that is making technology more accessible, holdable, and stylish. I worked as a creative strategist and creative director working with their media agency to provide meaningful performance insights and manage their paid social calendar. Together we were able to form a flywheel creative process where data, creative execution, and media strategy all worked to strengthen PopSocket’s performance.
PAID SOCIAL
After joining the team, I began by assessing performance for past creative and creating new processes for content calendaring, creative insights, and creative briefs. Together with the media team we established brand hypothesis that would inform creative and built out new formats for reporting performance and creative insights together.
Phase two was all about creative production, crafting paid social content that flowed with the big seasonal brand campaigns and followed our newly established social creative best practices. We had a limited production budget so had to get creative with batching, cadence, and concepts to maximize performance while exploring new content types with the internal creative team. By establishing a baseline for what we knew was successful and crafting a framework to help us test and learn, we were able to use creative production resources more efficiently while increasing performance.
